Charm Champion Villa Hoian

We booked Charm Villa quite spontaneously, but it turned out to be the best decision of our whole Hoi An trip. Right after booking, the host messaged us quickly with all the details — how to get there, local food spots, and even a few hidden gems in the old town that only locals know. When we arrived, we were honestly impressed. The villa sits in a quiet area, surrounded by greenery with a small, lovely pool that feels so relaxing. The room was spotless, bright, and smelled fresh — you could tell it’s cared for with love, not just maintained for business. In the morning, sunlight came through the window, birds were singing outside, and the air was filled with the scent of flowers — exactly the kind of calm we needed for a real getaway. The hosts were super kind and attentive, always ready to help. I still remember our first night when we asked about the best cao lầu place — they didn’t just recommend it, they sent us the exact map location and even called ahead so we wouldn’t have to wait. It felt personal, not just “service".Charm Villa isn’t a fancy, luxurious resort, but it’s warm, private, and genuinely comfortable — the kind of place where, after a long day exploring, you just want to come back, dip in the pool, and play some soft music. It’s peaceful yet conveniently close to both the Old Town and the beach — a perfect balance. When we left Hoi An, we all joked that next time we come back, we’ll stay in the same place again. Because a great stay isn’t just about the room — it’s about the people and those small, heartfelt moments that make a trip truly memorable.

I spent a month here and it was absolutely perfect. It was so peaceful. The room was spacious and clean, with spotless wifi and smart tv with AirPlay. The pool was cool and refreshing, and the hotel was in a very quiet and peaceful area. Halfway between the beach and the old city, an easy grab ride in either direction. Also, the hotel and free bicycles to use. There is a little shop next door for the basics, some restaurants within easy walking distance, and the hotel provides free drinking water every day. The owner and staff were absolutely wonderful and kind and I was sad to say goodbye to them. They are very helpful with easy communication. I would love to come back and stay again. It was a very happy and special stay for me.

It has taken me some time to figure out what I can say about our experience at Charm Champion. Because after staying in hundreds of accommodations in over 60 countries, this might be the most special of them all. Why do I say this? The people. Thi and Tu made our experience. Their kindness, warmth, and friendship were the highlight of our entire time in Hoi An. They were like two aunties to our daughter, great friends to my wife, and always available if I needed anything from a motorcycle to a driver to a recommendation. It is these two ladies (and Thi's daughter, Linh, that we miss the most). The location. Nestled in a quiet neighborhood on the north end of town, it provides both easy access to all of the sites with a serene, quiet solitude when you want some quiet time. Walks in the rich paddy were less than 100m away. And the cafe across the street became our favorite morning ritual (with excellent coffee and a beautiful family than owns it). The room. We had the top floor "penthouse", which was dreamy. We had a small kitchen in a separate room, a day bed by the window for lounging and playing, a big shower that opened to the bathroom and the balcony, and a huge outdoor bathtub that fits a small family and overlooks the morning sunrise over the paddy. This place is truly one of a kind. In many ways, our trip to Hoi A wouldn't have been nearly as special without it. And as we were leaving today, my wife and I agreed that Charm Champion was our favorite accommodation we have ever experienced in our lives. Thank you with all of our hearts, Thi, Linh, and Tu. The villa is located in a quiet area, but still close to the city center. When I arrived the staff told me I got upgraded to a room with a kitchen, which I absolutely loved. They were super kind and very helpful with arranging tours, massages, market visits, etc. The room was big and cool, because the AC and fan were both working. The bathroom was also very nice and clean. They asked multiple times whether my room needed cleaning and offered drinking water for free throughout my stay. Bikes were also free to use, which I appreciated. Overall, very very very satisfied and I will definitely go back here! 100% recommend it!
